Leadership

Seven Steps for Defeating Failure:
1. Make your failures work for you. Learn the lessons every failure can teach you.
2. Follow through on every good idea you get. Follow it until either a) you decide it's not for you, or b) it leads you to success.
3. Make your goals clear, definite, precise. Don't be guilty of fuzzy thinking.
4. Think about what you really want. Mentally plot your course to success.
5. Line up to the steps necessary to reach your goal. Count the cost. Be willing to pay the price of success.
6. Take these steps, one by one.
7. Never be afraid to take the risk of failing. Make every failure a rung in your ladder to success.
Plus

An enthusiast is one who believes about four times as much as he can prove, and can prove about eight times as much as any one else will ever believe.

Triumph is umph added to try.

General Eisenhower used to teach leadership with a simple piece of string, says Today's Supervisor. He would put it on a table and say, ``Pull it and it will follow wherever you wish. Push it and it will go nowhere at all. It's just that way when it comes to leading people.''
