Health
It is safe to predict that the new age of medicine will make
people well because it sees them whole. Actually it will only be
going back to a very old concept. The word health comes from an
ancient Anglo-Saxon one, ``wholeth,'' that means not germs, or
drugs, or surgeons' scalpels, but whole.

The Well-Woman Clinic of Montreal's Royal Victoria Hospital is
following the old Chinese practice under which physicians were
paid to keep their patients well. When a patient became ill,
payments stopped.
Dr. N. W. Philpott, obstetrician and gynecologist-in-chief of the
hospital, said:``This hospital is dedicated to the task of
keeping women well. It is much easier to keep people well than to
treat them when they become severely ill.''

To insure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply; live
moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in
life.
